Change is here to stay...

Being the flexible, changable church that we are I need to make you aware of another change to previously stated plans.

We were due to have a Gatherings Planning meeting on January 3rd which is the same evening as our next meal together. So.... the planning meeting will move on a week to January 10th. This will be an evening of wine, nimbles and lively chat and planning for our next series of Sunday morning meetings. All welcome!

The evening at Brian and Beryls on January 3rd will be another evening of yummy food and lively natter. Do let them know if you plan to go as they will need to know numbers.

In other news... I have been emailed details of an event in January by Justin Blake. He writes

This is some advance notice that Carl Wills is going to be speaking at Wiston Church 7pm Sunday 13th January. This is a great opportunity to hear his extraordinary testimony. This incredibly inspiring story of God transforming broken lives will be followed by a time of prayer ministry.
Carl has ministered around the world and serves on the leadership team of the Pioneer network of Churches and also advises many other church networks. Over the years God has used him to bring very timely and accurate prophetic guidance to many churches and individuals. He is passionate about the Church and encouraging people and has a huge heart for the poor and the most vulnerable. He is President of Hope For The Nations UK.

Wiston Church is in the grounds of Wilton Park, beside Wiston House, between Steyning and Washington off the A283. Drive through parkland to the house and you will reach a security gate; press the intercom and tell Reception you are going to the church and they will open the gate for you.
This is a great chance for us to unite together in prayer as the Church across the region. If you could spread the word and pass this on to friends, contacts and church networks via notice sheets / email etc this would be much appreciated. We will be taking up an offering on the evening.
It would be so good to start the New Year with an expression of Unity and prayer together and to call out to God for transformation in 2013.

This promises to be a brilliant evening and it will be a great investment for our communities so we look forward to seeing those that can join us.

 Every blessing,
 Justin Blake
