Hi all, Don't forget we have our day together coming up on April 14th. This is a really important time together exploring who we are and what we do. We have special guests Tim Lovejoy joining us to help us with our exploration and similarly special Nigel and Emma to look after the kids.
Also this from Nathaniel from The Community Church, Storrington
Dear Friends,
I am very excited to inform you of a worship evening that will be taking
place at the church on the Wiston Estate on the 21st of April at 7pm.
This evening will be all about seeking the presence of God and we have
some great worship leaders coming to assist
us as we seek to draw close to God. We would love for you to join us.
Please do pass along the invite.
You can check out some of the worship leaders music here.

Bits 'n' Bobs...
Study Group
Firstly news of the Bible study group which Eunice announced this morning. Eunice, Anne and Pat plan to meet tomorrow morning at 10am for coffee and a study of Mark's Gospel. If you can make it they'd love to see you.
Blessing
Eunice also shared a Celtic blessing during our worship a couple of weeks ago. I thought I'd share this with you here. Feel free to copy, paste, print and make it part of your day.
Lighter of lights – illumine us
Fire of fires – thaw us
Power of powers – strengthen us
Lover of lovers – warm us
Teller of tales – encourage us
Destroyer of darkness – save us
Touchstone of truth – examine us
Summoner of stars – amaze us
Wellspring of wisdom – weather us
Water of life – refresh us
Dancer of days – delight in us
Breath of the universe – bless us.
Blessing by Ruth Burgess
Church Day
Don't forget our Church vision day on April 14th. We will meet at the Sylvia Beaufoy Youth Centre from 10am until 3pm. The aim of the day is to gain fresh excitement and vision about our purpose as a church, exploring various aspects of who we are and what we do together during the day.
Lunch will be provided and we are planning to have a team looking after the children. We will also be joined by Tim Lovejoy who will be helping us with our musings during the day.
Tony's Talk
It was good to see some of you this morning. I hope that not too many of you have cricks in your neck from reading the words on the ceiling! You can click here to view Tony's notes.
Finally, some of you may have been at Bob and Annie's for a yummy meal on Thursday night when Tony mentioned a report by the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Church of Scotland, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church through their Joint Public Issues Team, shows how evidence and statistics have been misused, misrepresented and manipulated to create untruths that stigmatise poor people, welfare recipients and those in receipt of benefits. You can click here to find a link to the report.

A couple of things...
Hi all, looking forward to getting together for another yummy meal this Thursday evening at Annie's. 7:30 start. See previous blog post for further instructions!
When we where last together we were blessed to have our old pals Kev and Jan with us. It was so exciting to hear their news and to chat together about Kev's latest theological conundrums including the question ' Did Jesus intend to start a religion?' If you missed it then you can CLICK HERE to listen to John's recording.
Finally, Gerald from All Hallows, Tillington has emailed with details of another PACT Spring Lecture. They are as follows;

Yummy!
Dear All
It is time for our monthly supper get together this week. Bob and I are hosting here at Little Beeches and Jane has kindly offered to cook the main meal. It would be great to have an idea of numbers and any offers of grub. I am still on the 'poorly' list but not infectious and Bob is doing all the work (what's new you may ask??).
Jane will provide sausage and bean casserole and baked potatoes. Suggestions for contributions are: 1. Bread 2. Salad 3. puddings 4. drinks
Do pass on the reminder to anyone not on e mail that you meet up with. Let us know if you can come
Bob and Annie
