 Hi all,

A quick post to remind you all that the PCC Spring Sundays rota is available under the Links section on the right hand side of this page. You can type directly into it and everyone can then see that so feel free to put your names down as there are still gaps!

Also as was mentioned this morning there is a new communication sheet which Linda has produced. Please contact her if you have not received it.

Finally you can now view who's doing what on a Sunday on the PCC Calendar page. To get to this just click on the PCC Calendar link under Pages. You will also see that the new youth group 'Click' has been added. This new group will be following the Youth Alpha material which you can have a nose at here.

Unity Service CANCELLED due to the snow :-(

Hi All

It is with regret that I announce the Unity Service due to held at Fittleworth tomorrow afternoon will be CANCELLED due to the snow already underfoot and more on the way. 


However the daily sessions at the URC will continue unless you hear to the contrary - starting 1pm at the URC in Petworth with a different speaker each day. Maureen Purser is looking forward to welcoming everyone and I expect the warm soup will be much in demand!

Please would you make sure everyone in your area know about this change of plan - you'll receive a further email if there are any other changes that you need to be aware of.

Wow. Another blog post!

I know! Weeks of nothing and then three blog posts come along in a few days!
This time I bring news of the Calendar which is filling up nicely. As mentioned before you can view it by clicking on the link on the right and then clicking on the events in the calendar for details.

After this Sunday you should be able to click on any Sunday morning and see who's doing what or more importantly, what you've forgotten you said you'd do!

Something to draw special attention to is the Petworth Area Chuches Together Week of Prayer. Here are links to three posters with details of a Service on Sunday 3rd, daily prayer at the United Reformed Church and a 'Wave' of Prayer on 23rd.

Diarys at the ready!

Hi all, We've had a meeting tonight to plan the next set of Sunday morning gatherings. We need people to lead worship, teaching, oversee and lead the children. So... I'll be there with my flip chart and pen on Sunday. If you feel so inclined, please bring your diary and pop your name down for some jobs.

The theme is based on The Prayer of Jabez. If you don't know of this then try 'googling'! More info to follow!

Also I have started populating the PCC Calendar page. Have a go look and try clicking on some events to see what happens! I will try to ensure that the information is current but please do let me know of events that could god on there or changes to current events.

The PCC Calendar can be found under the 'Pages' heading on the top right of the page.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully your Christmas was full of mirth and merriment or peace and quiet, which ever you needed most!

This coming Sunday (13th Jan) we meet at the Herbert Shiner Community Hall at 10:30. Our friends from the Splash team are with us and will be leading our worship and sharing news of their recent work in schools and communities of the Southdown region. For anyone new to PCC (or just forgetful) our Sunday morning meeting pattern is every 2nd and 4th Sunday at the Herbert Shiner Community Hall

We also have a meeting planned for this Thursday (10th Jan) to plan our next set of gatherings. The meeting will be at 16 Littlecote at 7:30. Feel free to come with ideas, thoughts or plans.

Finally, I plan to populate a new calendar page with all the regular church (PCC and beyond!) events so please send me dates of any church events, prayer meetings etc and I will get it set up asap.
